18 yr old guy from Arizona moving to London. I have 1200 Pound. I have worked sales all my life. I love retail but would love to work at a bar. Where should I stay that is cheap? Where should I try looking for jobs? Most importantly Should I go to London or Germany?

My husband and I are moving to Portland, OR in May of this year. We are both professionals but have not found jobs as of yet and may not before actually moving. Has anyone done this? I am moving, does anyone have a clever tip on packing all of my jewelry? The only tips I can find are for packing a small amount for a trip. I have a travel case for my good jewelry, I have ALOT of costume jewelry necklaces and I can not figure out a way they will not tangle.

I'm 19 and my cousin is 20 we both have jobs and were getting an apartment together any tips? this will be the 1st time outta our parents house… any tips

i'm going to move to a different town in a few weeks and was just wondering if anyone had any tips to make it easier?
we're going to label boxes clearly, as we'll have a lot of helpers (i can't lift much right now, pregnant!) and put labels on the bedroom doors, too.
we have one full weekend, and one half weekend between now & the move. (we also have 3 cats to move!)
any other tips??
also, we have a bit over a week where both places are ours. the old place needs a lot of cleaning. & the new place needs some repairs.
aww… i have a plan for my kitties, they're going to be moved first, directly into a prepared garage which will be closed off until i can go in & spend some time with them. (which i will do sporadically throught the move)

Oh my goodness! I have only 2 days remaining until the U-Haul arrives and only HALF of my stuff seems like it is packed!! My kids are driving me insane and I have no place of dropping them off! Plus, as I'm packing, they are making a mess behind me! I feel like just trashing it all and starting new in my new home but I hesitate because I may not be able to afford all the new stuff right away…
